EMO NIGHT X BLACKOUT POETRY EXPRESSION CLUB Hosted by Ego Death Collective Business as usual except it's EMO NIGHT! We welcome you to dress emo, cue up emo songs, and participate in our emo craft of blackout poetry! (Explanation and examples of emo music included in link.) 7 PM • Suggested $10 donation (pay what you can) Welcome to Thursday Night Expression Club! Where we get together to make art, sing, and express ourselves. Whether you want to create, perform, or just hang out, you’re welcome here. Please support the space by enjoying the drinks available at the venue. No outside alcoholic beverages, please. 💚 ✨ What’s happening: • Drinks for sale | 420 friendly • Local vendors • Free crafts to make + take • Karaoke hosted by Wild Wes @ 8 • Opportunity for open mic • A space to meet & connect with creatives • BE AUTHENTIC, SEEN, TAKE UP SPACE ✨ Performances: We’re opening the night up for 5-minute performances. Anything goes: comedy, dance, drag, rap, magic, poetry, instrumentals, storytelling, flow arts, circus, art presentations, etc. Ask your karaoke DJ to be added to the performance queue. ✨ When: Thursday, Aug. 20 • 7pm–2am ✨ Who should come: You, your friends, their friends, and anyone who wants to create, express, connect, or just exist peacefully around plants and good people. This is a safe, welcoming space for all: BIPOC, LGBTQ+, trans, nonbinary, disabled, neurodivergent, and anyone looking for community and creative expression. You belong!
