OPENING RECEPTION: Jared Schwartz- Lines Between Us
People always ask me the subject of my artwork. And they’re the answer. Because people themselves are what my artwork is about. People and their minds, people and their relationships, and all of the other things that make our experiences unique among the creatures that walk the earth.
At a time that some associate with hate, let’s celebrate art that is about what brings us together, and if it isn’t about that, let’s let it bring us together anyway.
Some of it is line artwork. Some of it is painterly artwork. All of it hopefully eases some of the lines between us, even as the world at large tries to draw lines around us.
Have a nice cup of coffee or tea as we hang out with artwork that explores those lines, the ones that separate us, but also the ones which draw us together. All pieces by Jared Schwartz, made via mixed media, acrylic, digital or some permeation of a bunch of stuff.
