Mardi Gras Wine Wednesday
French Quarter energy. Bayou flavors. Wine that lingers.
On February 18, Wine Wednesday at How Sanguine drifts south — into candlelight, Creole spice, and the kind of night that unfolds slowly and stays with you.
Your ticket includes a French Quarter–inspired wine tasting, curated to pair beautifully with bold Cajun flavors, savory richness, and a touch of sweetness. Wines meant to be sipped, discussed, and revisited.
Available for purchase throughout the evening:
Gumbo Puff Pastry Bites
Flaky pastry filled with turkey sausage, shrimp, crab claw, Creole gravy, and a classic Holy Trinity base.
Hush Puppies & Sweet Cajun Aioli
Golden cornmeal fritters with honey-garlic Cajun aioli. Vegan option available.
Cajun Chicken Skewers & White Rice
Char-grilled Cajun chicken glazed in Creole spices, finished with herbs and steamed rice.
Vegan Bayou Skewers & Creole Rice
Blackened tofu and marinated vegetables with Cajun glaze and seasoned Creole rice. Fully plant-based.
Puff Pastry Beignets
Light, airy beignets dusted in powdered sugar with chocolate or bourbon-vanilla dipping sauce. Vegan option available.
This is not a sit-down dinner. It’s a come-and-linger evening — wine in hand, plates passed around, conversations drifting, music humming softly in the background.
Festive attire encouraged but never required. Come solo, come with friends, come ready to indulge.
