Learn to let go of fear, judgment, emotional blockages, insecurity, low self-esteem and more through scribbling! Then, "go circular" and upcycle an item of clothing into a wearable abstract art masterpiece!
Join artist and master scribbler Bravo Valenti for a mind-expanding art experience, with live sound and music vibrations to open up your subliminal mind! Discover how scribbling can build new neural pathways and unleash your creative genius. No artistic talent necessary! And yes, even talented artists can benefit!
Bring a sketchbook or some paper and any writing or drawing instruments you like- pens, pencils, crayons, markers, Sharpies, in any colors. There will be supplies available if you need them, but if possible, bring your own. You will be amazed at how "childish" scribbling affects the adult mind. Bravo will also share his own remarkable experiences with scribbling. After we rewire our brains, let's get crazy and "go circular"- join Bravo as he shows us how to turn our jeans, t-shirts or any used clothing item into a wearable abstract expressionist masterpiece! Washable acrylic paint and brushes will be supplied at no charge. Bring one item of clothing you are ready to turn into a wearable- and washable- work of art.

FAQ:
Is this event free?
Yes. Donations are accepted.
Do I need to bring my own supplies?
We will provide paper and drawing instruments if you need them for the scribbling workshop. However, we do ask you to bring your own sketchbook and writing instruments to help defray costs.
For the second workshop, we will paint an item of clothing. No artistic talent necessary. Washable acrylic paint and brushes will be required. You must bring your own clothing item. We recommend jeans, denim jackets, t-shirts, white or solid shirts but any fabric clothing you want to upcycle into wearable art will do! Note: We are not responsible for your clothing item and how it turns out and you hold us harmless for any damage to any article of clothing you bring.
Does the second workshop start right after the first one? How long does each last?
We will scribble for about 45 minutes and then share our experiences, as well as learn about important breakthroughs Bravo discovered through scribbling. After a short break, we will get to work on panting our clothes, and while the paint dries, take some time to share our experiences and make new friends! Figure 2.5 to 3 hours total.
