Join us back at Blue Pomelo Studio on 8th Street in Gowanus for our first-ever Points Class, a workshop dedicated to unlocking Hong Kong-style scoring.
This session is designed for players who are comfortable with the chicken hand fundamentals and are ready to take their game to the next level: understanding what faan is, how to count it, and how to start building hands with scoring in mind.
Your $45 all-inclusive ticket includes:

π¬ A curated spread of nostalgic Chinese and Hong Kong snacks, both sweet and savory. Think shrimp chips, haw flakes, bak kwa, White Rabbit candies, and more. (Final snack menu subject to change!)
π± MJ Candy, our Hong Kong mahjong scoring app, as a reference tool for calculating faan. Great for following along in class and continuing to practice at home.

Is This Class Right For You?
This workshop is for players who already know the basic rules and gameplay of Hong Kong-style mahjong. If you're brand new to the game, we recommend starting with First Sundays at Nin Hao to learn the fundamentals first, and then joining us for this class.
