The Sometimes You Should Be Late book tour is coming to Philadelphia and Chapterhouse Cafe, and the sloth on the cover would be delighted if you joined us. This won’t be a traditional book talk. Alex will be joined by Rabbi Ari Lev Fornari of Kol Tzedek Synagogue — who is featured in Sometimes You Should Be Late — for a conversation about time, urgency, and the idea that the “gates are closing.” Together, we’ll explore the pressure to seize every window of opportunity, what it means to let some windows close, and how we might find more joy, kindness, and steadiness in a fast and disorienting world. Expect an interactive, thoughtful conversation drawing from the book, Jewish wisdom, and our own experiences of navigating time.
