please join me with a 36th birthday gift to myself, of sharing new art with you. It’s been 3 years since my last release of recorded work, and I’m thrilled to publish “mvp.iii “ - a poetry EP honoring some of the most sacred things in this life that I feel deserve more devotion.

THE THEME:
This will be a relaxed yet elegant evening of conversation, poetry, music, lounge, and more. The first piece on my EP celebrates the voice of Black femme poets in Los Angeles, a collective of powerful beings who have always guided my journey and lead our communities for nearly 20 years. So I felt it fitting to theme the night around their brilliance.
THE VENUE:
We are being hosted for this community gathering by Flavors from Afar, a Black and Palestinian owned restaurant in East Hollywood, whose award winning owner Meymuna will be also gracing the stage to share a poem that evening! Along with many other suprise guests.
TICKETS: $11-$22
Sliding Scale access
$22 donations include a food & drink item.
…no one will be turned away for lack of funds. Please inquire about a 1-2 hour volunteer time slot, or simply if you need a little extra love to be able to attend.
