What is Murph?
Murph is a legendary CrossFit Hero WOD that honors Navy Lieutenant Michael Murphy, who gave his life in Afghanistan. It was his favorite workout: 1 mile run, 100 pull-ups,
200 push-ups, 300 air squats, 1 mile run, and has become a global tradition of grit, solidarity, and service.
Is it beginner-friendly?
Yes. Our coaches will lead a full warm-up and offer modified and scaled versions of the workout. Whether it's your first time or your tenth, we’ve got you.
Can I actually do this?
Absolutely. This is about showing up, not perfection. We believe in you and we’ve got your back.
The MURPH workout:
1-mile run
100 pull-ups
200 push-ups
300 air squats
1-mile run
(Weighted vest is optional. Bring your own!)
All movements can be scaled, and we’ll offer partner/team options, too. Everyone is welcome, no matter their fitness level.
