Zab Shavrick & friends presents a PICK UP party at Maps Good Space. After launching a series of zines at the LA Book Fair, I’m excited to share over 6 new projects with the Portland community, including the release of GUBBINS magazine, a satirical publication comprised of illustrations and collected stories, poetry and essays (and two bookmarks, one being a play).

Order online and pick up your zines in person or show up day to gab, giggle and pick up many things beyond like…

pick up a raffle ticket with funds going to support PIRC (with over 10 prizes ranging from Matcha Freak to body work to a Momo Gordon original to a stay at Sosta House), pick up a glass of wine, pick up a bite from Angie of Comparta, pick up a book from Jerrod of Nonsense, pick up sticks, pick up lines, pin the vanity plate on the pick up, pick up some special edition limited drawings, surprise musical performances and more… 

And  while you’re at it, pick up your friend’s tab, why not. 

The first raffle drawing will begin at 8 PM and carry on throughout the evening. The event is free to attend and while RSVP is not required, it’s helpful and appreciated <3
