Yoga & Kirtan in the Park

Hosted by

My dear friend Anthony is in town from San Francisco, and we're in luck because he is an incredible yoga teacher with lots of wisdom to share. Join us for a casual morning of yoga and kirtan followed by a community picnic, in a beautiful secret shady spot on the upper west side of Central Park. This gathering is BYO yoga mat, picnic and instruments. I'll bring a harmonium, which anyone is welcome to play. We'll start the kirtan with some classic Sanskrit mantras then open it up into a song circle, where you're invited to share healing or uplifting songs from any tradition. All are welcome! No prior experience with kirtan or devotional chanting/singing required.
