Compton Community Garden is a communal effort to directly address social and ecological inequalities in Compton & beyond. An entirely organic, regenerative, and community-run garden, CCG’s core mission is to feed healthy natural foods to the immediate community in Compton & North Long Beach for free; to act as a resource for community empowerment & ecological consciousness, encouraging a more shared, self-sustaining way of life in harmony with the natural world. Beyond a place to grow & feed, Compton Community Garden is a hub for social & cultural exchange - a safe space for exploring mental health, direct democracy, music, books, ideologies, and life experiences.

On Saturday, March 28th the Good Karma Gardens crew will be joining Compton community members to clear old planter beds to create space for growing food directly in the ground. Throughout the day we will also be preparing the soil for spring planting. Join us for a day in the sun in a beautiful garden. Dig holes, make friends, break bread. See you all on the 28th!
