If you’ve been wanting to play beach volleyball or miss playing volleyball but want to do it with some culture, style, fun and people that actually look like you…..look no further.

This is a twice a month gathering for Black women and femmes (trans women, nonbinary folks, and all queer identities welcome!) who want to play beach volleyball with other melanin blessed folks.

We’ll do a couple of warm up drills, meet people and then start playing with Queen of the court (winner-stays-on-the-court format where teams rotate in and out) and then move to more traditional points based play (4 on 4 or 6 on 6). 

This is medium/light on competition and heavy on fun!

We’ll have tunes going, play for about 2ish hours and then you’re welcome to hang out after to kiki, eat or just lay down because playing in sand is no joke lol.

We’ll have a couple of beach volleyballs but please feel free to bring one if you have it since having more is helpful.

While this is open to all levels, the 12/6 meet up will not have the optional group class to learn / brush up on beach volleyball skills but the 12/20 one will!
