Please join us at Whaleheart in Mount Shasta for a very special and intimate Medicine Song Circle with Shylah Ray, a sacred evening of voice, prayer, community, and connection. Together, we’ll explore song can be prayer. Shylah will guide us into a shared space of singing, listening, expression… inspiring our individual voices to become part of something larger when we gather in circle. You don’t need to be a professional singer. You don’t need the “perfect” voice. Come exactly as you are, with a willingness to listen, participate, and experience the medicine of singing together. Please bring your voice, songs, and instruments. Shylah Ray Sunshine is a First Nations singer, songwriter, activist, and professional vocal coach from Canada. Her music centers Indigenous representation, feminine empowerment, and the belief that a song can change someone. Her sound blends Neo-Soul, R&B, Blues, New Age Jazz, and Gospel — raw, grounded, and built on over 15 years of independent artistry. Shylah offers music in sweat lodges, plant medicine ceremonies and honors ancestral language. For her, song has always been prayer and prayer has always been a catalyst for change.
