They said it couldn’t be done, but it can: Micro-plays at the Pen & Pencil Club.
Join Philadelphia polymath Rosie Tabachnick and acclaimed Minneapolis playwright Marge J. Buckley as they debut their experimental model for short-form theatre in the city of brotherly love.
Audience volunteers will help to perform a slate of cutting-edge plays about sleazy pop divas, train-hopping communist sympathizers, the Department of Homeland Security (humiliated), and more. Theatre as it’s meant to be: free, open to the public, and a little bit weird.
Doors at 7, plays at 8.
FYI - P&P becomes a smoking venue again at 10pm which we know is exciting for some of you rats.
