For all who love T-Group & Authentic Relating - and who want to be part of the AuthenticNC Facilitator team:
This weekend is part deep‑dive, part facilitator training. You’ll leave with the skills and confidence to lead T‑Groups in our community — learning through direct practice, feedback, and shared reflection.
We're building a rotating facilitation model so T-group and other authentic relating practices we love can take off locally, in community, with enough people sharing the spaceholding for us to all have fun.
This retreat is for people who have some ground under them relationally — circling, authentic relating games, somatic work, or other relational practice. You don't need to have done T-Group before; plenty of people here will be new-ish to it. But this isn't the right entry point if you're completely new to intentional relational containers.
What we're doing: extended group sessions, live practice in the subtleties of T-group - including detailed exploration of the 5 core areas: emotions, body sensations, desires, actions, and naming what we're really doing in fun, deep, ways. We'll have real-time facilitator training and feedback woven throughout.
For T-Group training, the more the merrier — if strong interest emerges early, we'll book a larger space and bring in co-leadership.
Friday evening through Sunday evening, Durham, NC. Not a residential retreat, but if you need a place to stay nearby, let us know and we'll help figure something out.
BTW - a week-long immersion in Zipolite-Mazunte, Mexico (near Oaxaca) in February, 2026 is also on the table!
Early commitment helps us know whether to book the venue and how big a space we need. Capacity is 10–20 depending on initial response.
