Meet in Barbara's Bookstore on Tuesday, July 23th to discuss Voltaire's "Candide"! Our book club will go from 6:30pm-7:30pm. "Candide" is 20% off at our store all month long if you need to grab a copy. Reading/finishing the book is not required, just come to chat! To get a feel for the book, here's the jacket description: "This philosophical tale follows the misadventures of the naive protagonist Candide as he travels the world, experiencing terrible misfortunes that challenge his optimistic worldview."
