Avalon is hosting a small technical symposium led by Michael Edward Johnson for biologists, neuroscientists, and interoception researchers. Michael will present the current trajectory of the field and his own research before leading a general discussion about opportunities and challenges in the study of Vasocomputation. Doors open, socializing: 6:30-7:30 Talk, Q&A: 7:30 Round-table discussion: 7:30-8:30 Drinks and Conversation: 8:30-10:00 Our aim is to begin to build a research network interested in Vasocomputation, as Michael is considering starting a substantial research project in the domain and is looking for collaborators and allies. Avalon is also interested in hosting more technical symposia to bring together experts pursuing open-ended questions in science, please reach out to us if you would like to lead one!
