In this class you will learn the basics of hand building and surface decoration. This class is appropriate for beginners and experienced students. Students will learn hand-building techniques such as pinching, coiling, extruding and rolling slabs giving students the tools to create functional work, tableware collections and sculptural work.Experienced students will receive guidance in building larger and more complex pieces with a focus on surface decorations.
This is a beginner-friendly, introductory pottery course. Great for folks who have wanted to try pottery or hand building. Experienced potters will also feel at home, our instructors are pros and there’s a ton to learn!
Cost is $280 per person (cheapest in the city!), must Venmo me at @Lauren-Babitz to secure your spot.
Cancellation Policy: $125 is non-refundable. Balance will be refunded for cancellation made in writing, no later than 7 days prior to the start of the 4 week session. No refund available thereafter.
