A screening and facilitated conversation on AI in schools, from School Dismissed. Nobody knows yet what schools should do about AI. School districts are deciding right now, fast, without a good way to talk it through, and the people building these tools rarely hear what that sounds like from inside a classroom. This is not a panel. It opens with a 30-minute cut of Mr. Advocate, a narrative film in which a new teacher and career changer puts on an AI Show that turns a test-obsessed school upside down, and his principal makes it clear that innovation is welcome, as long as it doesn't change anything. The film is followed by a facilitated conversation: what this room believes about AI in schools, where it disagrees, and what it takes to hold that disagreement without it falling apart. Stacie McClam spent over ten years teaching in public schools across the United States and abroad before making the film. She facilitates, does not lecture, and she is not selling a position. Open to founders, investors, educators, parents, and anyone with a stake in what school becomes. 60 minutes.
