Open House #13 - Silver Lake
We're back in Silverlake! We'll be joined by Erik Miron [Magnetic Vines] with his eco-inspired music from the wildnerness of Montana.
Open House is a concert series presented as a deep listening or soundbath experience. Guided by improvisation, artists and audience intermix as a devotional and communal practice. Our music is informed by multiple jazz, classical, world and ambient lineages, with occasional contributions from poets and movement artists.
As the audience, this is your mid-week moment to rest & reset, bring your meditative practice, and connect yourself or others (we’re introvert friendly). Come unblock stuck energy, let things go, inspire new ideas, and reclaim your focus. You need you, and your community needs you!
*What to bring*
- Comfy cushions/mats/blankets for the ground, and clothing you can relax in.
- your personal practice, journal, or just yourself. whatever helps you unwind and reconnect.
*Please be on time, and reverent*
Door closes at 8:30 so please arrive before then! We’ll wrap by 10 – due to intimate size, please try to attend the full length so as not to disturb others' experience!
We are working musicians & health practitioners, so please help us by remaining home if you're sick or symptomatic! :-)
