We close Black August with a morning 5K walk through Third Ward, tracing paths of liberation and commemoration across the neighborhood. Participants will stop at significant cultural and historical landmarks, reflecting on local ties to broader movements for freedom and justice. Bring water, a towel, comfortable walking shoes, and proper sun protection. 8:30am Check-in at Class Bookstore 9:00am Take-Off 10:30am Walk concludes with a hangout at Class Bookstore
