join band highly sensitive gays + friends for a concert in the garden and fundraiser for Palestinian poet & human rights activist Badee Dwaik, featuring his poem set to music, “Freedom (Morning Flowers)” spend “Independence Day” weekend bringing consciousness to our interdependence and dreaming of true freedom for all hosted by our wonderful friends cultivating intentional community in Monrovia. RSVP and the address will be texted to you. ~~~ Badee Dwaik is a Palestinian human rights activist, poet, father, grandfather, and pillar of community in the West Bank. He is a founder of Human Rights Defenders Association, a project that aims to document human rights violations by the Israeli occupation while empowering and protecting local children. This organization is the subject of the BBC film “Hebron Exposed: A Weapon of Life.” In 2018, he spoke to the United Nations Human Rights Council on behalf of his community.
