Badee Dwaik is a Palestinian human rights activist, poet, father, grandfather, and pillar of community in the West Bank. He is a founder of Human Rights Defenders Association, a project that aims to document human rights violations by the Israeli occupation while empowering and protecting local children. This organization is the subject of the BBC film “Hebron Exposed: A Weapon of Life.” In 2018, he spoke to the United Nations Human Rights Council on behalf of his community.

All funds raised at this event go directly to Badee to distribute to his family (West Bank) and his friends in Rafah per his discretion.
Badee says, "I feel immense pain from what I have experienced and witnessed, and I feel the pain of many others. Our blood is spilling, despair increases daily, and our financial fortunes are at their lowest."
