i work at a local cafe in brooklyn & see beautiful people with beautiful talent every single day. after going to friends show in bushwick, i realized there is a deep lack of local venues/events to showcase the myraid of unrecognized talent that lives in little caribbean, flatbush and crown heights. most art/music venues & shows are held in williamsburg, bushwick or the dwtn brooklyn areas. i want to create a space for local artists to perform in their own neighborhood. not only will incognico pour money back into the community by changing the venue each year, fluctuating from neighborhood to neighborhood, but this is also a space for artists to connect and experience each other without any possible distractions or fear of clout chasing, letting talent speak for itself.
