FIRST ROUND OF APPLICATIONS REVIEW: May 12th
SECOND (& FINAL) ROUND OF APPLICATIONS REVIEW: May 20th
This event is a hackathon. Apply if you want to *build* the future of healthcare, for a full day.
Healthcare has some of the hardest problems in the world. Boston Protocol is where you actually build solutions to them.
On May 27th, as part of Boston Tech Week, The FOMO Group is bringing together engineers, builders, clinicians, doctors, patients, and caregivers for a single focused day of co-creation.
The problems are real. The people in the room lived them. And what gets built could change how care is delivered.
Why This Room Is Different
Most hackathons put engineers in a room with an API. We're putting engineers in a room with the people who've lived the problem. Patients, caregivers, and patient advocates will be co-creating alongside technical builders all day. Clinicians and professors from Stanford, MIT, and Harvard will open the day sharing real cases from their practice, then stay available to every team throughout the build.
This is what it looks like when the people who understand the problem and the people who can build the solution are in the same room at the same time.
If you are an engineer or builder, this is your chance to work on problems that actually matter, guided by world-class clinicians and researchers who will tell you exactly what is broken and why nothing has fixed it yet.
If you are a clinician, doctor, researcher, or professor, this is your chance to get a working prototype built around a problem you care about, in a single day, by talented technical builders who will listen.
If you are a patient, caregiver, or patient advocate, this is your chance to put your lived experience at the center of the design process, not as an afterthought. Your voice shapes what gets built.
The judging panel includes investors, practicing clinicians, and leaders from Anthropic, Oura, Stanford Spezi, MIT, and Harvard. The people evaluating your work are also the people you want to know.
This event is selective. Spots are limited and reviewed. Apply only if you are committed to the full day.
Free for all accepted participants.
