Woodblock Workshop: The Power of Names

Join us for a special woodblock printing workshop at @fapa_ny.m’s first art exhibition, Between Shores: Reimagining Formosa. In this workshop, we’ll first unpack the power and purpose of names in the context of diasporic and marginalized identities, and then we’ll carve our own name tags inspired by Taiwan’s 姓名貼紙. The final pieces will be collectively printed on fabric as an archive of our workshop.

⏰: 1-5pm
📍: One Art Space
