In this workshop, participants build collages from their own material and each other's, then scan their compositions on the risograph flatbed. The scanning process layers everything together, blurring the line between one person's fragment and another's. Everyone leaves with a copy of the finished zine, printed on the spot. Bring your own images: photographs, ephemera, found paper, etc (avoid originals, newspapers or magazines). This workshop is led by Matiz Press, a project by Miguel Limon, current Artist in Resident at the KAC.
