‘A FESTIVAL within fête; soundsystems, live music, art, fashion and interdisciplinary activations’ ‘Une fête dans la fête, portée par des soundsystems, de la musique live, de l’art, de la mode et des activations interdisciplinaires.’ The event will be a multi-area cultural takeover across indoor and outdoor spaces, bringing together music, live performance, live painting, fashion, movement, pop-up stalls, interactive games, giveaways and media moments throughout the day. Building on Doppio’s “festival within a festival” format, this edition expands the concept into a wider interdisciplinary event, produced collaboratively by Community Curates, Demi from Hackney, Doppio Presents and Abando Agency. Across the day, we’ll be bringing together a network of French and British creative platforms, collectives and artists, with each collaborator hosting their own 1 to 1.5 hour moment within the wider programme. Rather than a standard line-up, the event will flow through different sounds, energies, activations and communities. The evening will close with back-to-back France x UK performance and cypher activations led by Doppio Presents and Chet Rock. Other moments across the day will include live art, fashion walk-outs, DJ takeovers, pop-up stalls, content moments and more. Fête de la Doppio takes place on 21st June, 2pm to 10pm, at La Riviera, just 5 to 10 minutes from Gare du Nord.
