As we begin preparations for our upcoming TSEP Overnight Camping Conference 2026, we are excited to reconnect with both our past counselors and those interested in serving for the first time.
This year’s conference will take place September 11–13, 2026 at Camp Jones Gulch in Santa Cruz, where we will once again bring together high school students of color for a transformative outdoor and leadership experience.
We are currently seeking dedicated counselors/chaperones to support and mentor a small group of approximately 10 students throughout the weekend. Serving as a counselor is a meaningful opportunity to make a direct impact—guiding students, building community, and helping create a safe, inspiring environment rooted in connection and growth. To kick things off, we invite you to join us for a Counselor Mixer:

Time: 7:00 PM – 9:00 PM
This mixer will be a great chance to learn more about the conference, connect with fellow counselors, and ask any questions you may have. Please RSVP as soon as possible to confirm your interest in serving as a counselor and/or attending the mixer.
