CEI and PADT are teaming up for a morning of serious talk about the unique challenges hard tech startups face in funding, getting to launch, and dealing with the hard, cold realities of bringing a physical product to market. This four-hour event is focused on startup founders and their key team members, although anyone interested in the hardtech journey to success is invited. We will start and finish with networking, and have three distinct but synergistic sessions: - Getting to Funding and Launch Faster with Simulation (PADT) - Funding Realities and Options for Hardware Startups (CEI + PADT) - Advice for the Hardware Founder’s Journey (CEI) This talk is industry agnostic, and people interested in any vertical, including medtech, aerospace/defense, sustainability, energy, electronics, and more will find the information interesting, useful, and actionable. We will have time for Q&A and open discussions as well as a chance to meet other people interested in hard tech.
