At Cape Bottle Room, we believe that community is essential for everyone, everywhere. In a world where rapid change often erodes a sense of belonging, we aim to bring people together through our favorite catalyst—great wine. We eliminate the pretense often associated with wine, focusing instead on its enjoyment and the vibrant culture of South Africa, a region that mirrors Austin’s creativity, community, and sustainability. Our goal is to make wine as approachable as beer—casual, low-pressure, and all about a great experience. Recognizing the lack of South African wine options in the U.S., we are committed to accelerating its presence through a dedicated tasting room and wine education, introducing Austinites and beyond to the excellence of this dynamic region.
Hosted by Conan Brooks, principal of CBrooks&Co and a fifth-generation art dealer and appraiser, this special showcase highlights emerging artists making waves on the national stage. Brooks is known for curating exclusive private art experiences across the U.S. and internationally. For the first time ever, guests will experience the unveiling of his unique three-dimensional art, alongside works by rising contemporary artist Justin Bower, whose pieces are featured on the set of the hit Paramount series Landman. The artist will be present for the show and a live Landman mural painting experience.
Co-hosting the evening is Alina, founder and chief matchmaker of Beau Monde Matchmaking — a boutique matchmaking and coaching company known for curated introductions and refined social gatherings. Beau Monde blends modern dating strategy with classic matchmaking, creating environments where accomplished, relationship-oriented professionals can meet authentically and naturally.
