Saturday, June 27. ~~~ Recession Proof Industries emerges from a moment when no industry feels untouched. In times like these, the most reliable investment is your own work. This exhibition draws from a lineage of artists who operated outside of institutions, forming collectives and bringing their work directly to the public. In an era of increasingly automated and disposable image-making, we return to physical process and direct authorship. We invite people to sit with these works in real space, not to lose them in the infinite scroll of the algorithm.
