Got a mahjong lesson or two under your belt but need some more guidance before you feel comfortable playing socially? Our Guided Play option is for you! Join Apryl Dailey of Oak Cliff Society of Mahjong for an instructor-led guided play session that will have you throwing tiles and swapping jokers with the best of them in no time. *This course is designed for those who have had previous mahjong instruction!* We’ll have a very brief refresher on some mechanics and strategies before you jump straight into a game of American Mahjong with other beginners. An instructor will walk you through strategy, give you advice on your hand, answer any questions that may come up during play, and generally observe your game to help you understand and apply mahjong rules and principals effectively! By the end of your guided play session, you’ll be more confident sitting down with players of all levels at regular social play! So don’t wait…RSVP to save your seat and get your mahj-on with OCSM!
