Known as the People’s Popstar, the L.A.–based artist blends razor-sharp lyrics, glam theatrics, and immersive performances that turn grief, rage, love, and identity into dancefloor catharsis. Her debut album Adult Tantrums transforms real-life loss into unapologetic, maximalist pop. Marié Sakai Marié Sakai creates alt-rock for the indie soul. Using songwriting as catharsis, her music explores themes of loss, longing, and emotional truth. Blending soulful vocals with raw, gritty arrangements, her sound moves between alt-rock and indie soul, drawing influence from jazz, Celtic folk, and Enka. lucky break lucky break is a New York–born indie rock artist based in San Francisco, known for hook-driven songs that blend classic alt-rock with modern indie pop and a DIY punk spirit. Signed to Fire Records, she released the single “Burning String,” with her debut album set for release next year.
