Anh Ơi Bake Shop is officially opening its first storefront in Seattle’s historic Nihonmachi (Japantown), and we’d love to celebrate with you.
Join us on Saturday, May 23 from 11AM-2PM for an afternoon of bakes, community, and third culture joy.
We’ll begin with a ribbon cutting followed by lion dancers from Junhong Kung Fu Club, free Vietnamese food from Ba Mẹ Popup, and a special meet-the-bakers market featuring the inaugural bakers behind the shelves at Anh Ơi. You’ll be able to meet them in person, ask about their work, and shop additional pastries and treats beyond what’s carried in the store.
Anh Ơi is a Vietnamese-American bake shop built around identity, nostalgia, and the kinds of flavors that remind us who we are. This space was built with the people who carried it here, and we’re so excited to finally open the doors.
