One Last Look — Closing Party of Between Shores: Reimagining Formosa 🎉
Join us for One Last Look — a joyful farewell as we close Between Shores: Reimagining Formosa, the Formosan Association for Public Affairs (FAPA)’s first-ever group exhibition, featuring 18 brilliant Taiwanese and Taiwanese American artists.
We’re sending it off with live performances, good vibes, and a final walk through the show with the community that made it all happen.

🎭 3:15 PM — Dowsing Stylus by Hui-Ying Tsai @huiytsai
Experience an intimate, interactive performance led by artist Hui-Ying Tsai. Inspired by Fuji (扶乩), a traditional Taiwanese spiritual practice, Dowsing Stylus (尋龍筆) invites you to co-create spontaneous, subconscious markings alongside the artist. It's a ritual of presence, intuition, and connection beyond words — crossing cultures and inviting collective discovery.

Edelyn Huang is a pianist, composer, and producer whose music exists at the intersection of jazz fusion, hip-hop/soul, gospel, fusion, electronic improvisation, and Taiwanese Indigenous influences. Based in both New York and Taiwan, she is an active performer, collaborator, and bandleader, constantly pushing the boundaries of sound and identity. Whether leading her own projects or contributing as a sideman, her work embodies a seamless fusion of tradition and innovation, deeply rooted in both personal and cultural narratives.
