Welcome to the Happier Reading Book Club!
this month we’re hosting our first in-person meetup at barnes & noble in burbank.
the theme of the first book club is: the book at the top of your reading list.
it’s a time to gather together, take advantage of the 50% sale on hardcovers at b&n, and of course read the book that’s at the top of our list.
a couple rules of engagement:
it’s B.Y.O.B. - bring your own book
we’re covering one drink of choice at the cafe and will provide snacks (you can support us in this effort with a suggested donation of $10)
all are welcome - this is a space where everyone, no matter who you or what your fav genre is can read.
come to talk (at least for a lil) - we’ll have some quiet time to read then open it up for conversation. we want discussions to be fun and lively, being respectful and considerate of everyone’s point of view
