SFVS is holding an animal sanctuary volunteering event! We will be going to Goatlandia Farm Animal Sanctuary and helping out with taking care of the animals ๐ชฟ๐๐ฆ๐๐๐
PLEASE READ:
- Goatlandia requires a $20 donation per volunteer to help support the animals and upkeep of the sanctuary. Please use the link www.goatlandia.org/donate to make the donation
- Plan to arrive right at 9am
- Dress for the weather and wear closed toe shoes (preferably boots, it will be muddy)
- Do not bring any animal-based products onto the property
- No outside food is allowed for the safety of the animals
- No pets or other animals allowed
Out of safety concerns no children under the age of 12 are allowed to attend the Volunteer Workdays. Minors 12 to 17 years of age must be accompanied by their parent or legal guardian in order to work inside any animal housing barns.
Goatlandia will ask that each volunteer signs their Release of Liability Form upon arrival. Parents/guardians must sign releases for each of their children.
Directions to Goatlandia at 1567 Cunningham Road, Sebastopol:
- Enter at Cunningham Road - road is very bumpy, so drive slowly
- Continue straight on Cunningham road until you reach the end of the road
- You will see the Goatlandia sign
- DRIVE SLOWLY through the oak trees and down driveway and be on the lookout for exiting vehicles and pedestrians on foot
- Once you are headed down the driveway, turn left into GUEST PARKING. There will be a sign to direct you to the parking area.
