Tuesdays, 06/02 - 07/07 6:00-9:00pm $200 Early Registration | $240 after June 2nd Working on a monologue is the ideal introduction to acting Shakespeare. In this online workshop, you'll learn a variety of techniques and exercises to help you act Shakespeare's language truthfully and with confidence. We'll learn about: • Shakespearean Script Analysis • Iambic Pentameter and using the verse to inform action and emotion • Using physicality to unlock the meaning of the language • Discovering and developing character objectives and motivations • Taking ownership of Shakespeare's words and performing with confidence Open to all experience levels | Includes a 1-on-1 virtual coaching session About Your Instructor: Ryan Paul is an Austin-based actor, educator, and the founder of Acting Shakespeare.
