Good Boys Read: A Bookish Hang in the Park

We are thrilled to host the first ever Good Boys Read event! Category is: BOOK SWAP!
Location update: We’ll be setting up near the southwest corner of Cheesman Park (closest entrance into park is 9th Street). Address listed is closest physical address. Photo added shows the pin of the location.
What to bring:
Bring at least one used book that you’ve read (or sort of read, or not even read but think could be cool 😉). Feel free to bring up to three books. Genre doesn’t matter, feel free to bring any book that you’d be excited to recommend to another queer reader. Keep in mind that this book won’t be coming back to you, so be sure to bring a book(s) that you feel good about giving away / trading. You can take as many books as you bring.
Other than that, bring a blanket, your iced coffee, water... whatever you think you’ll need to be comfy at the park for a couple of hours. We plan to provide some light snacks for the group. You're welcome to bring some shareable snacks for the group as well, totally up to you!
Here’s the general plan:
11:00am - Folks arrive, check in, and hang out. At check in, you’ll get a cute little Good Boys Read bookmark.
11:30am - Book swap begins / socializing continues. All of the books brought for the book swap will be displayed. Attendees will be organized into small groups. Each small group will get about 15 minutes to check out all of the books contributed for the book swap and make their individual selection. If your small group isn't selecting books, you'll be chatting books, getting to know each other, etc.
12:30pm - Book swap ends / socializing continues. This is a great chance to meet the person who brought the book(s) you selected. Hang out in the park, enjoy the weather, keep chatting about books (or whatever).
1:00pm - Event concludes.
