BeaconFest: Music Festival
BeaconFest is UMass Boston’s largest student-led music festival, bringing the campus together for one unforgettable night on the Campus Center Lawn. Taking place on May 7 from 4:00 to 10:00 PM, the event features a diverse lineup of student performers including DJs, singers, rappers, bands, and dance teams, all showcasing the talent within the UMB community.
More than just a concert, BeaconFest creates a full festival experience with free food, interactive novelties, and high-energy production that transforms the heart of campus into a vibrant celebration of music and culture. From live performances to crowd engagement moments, every part of the event is designed to make students feel connected, energized, and proud to be part of UMass Boston.
Organized by the Music Production Club in collaboration with Mass Media and SAEC, BeaconFest represents months of planning, creativity, and teamwork. Whether you’re coming to perform, support your friends, or just enjoy the atmosphere, BeaconFest is where the entire campus comes alive.
