We are taking over the Santa Monica Farmers Market (Pico) and the kids are running the show. Each kid gets a tote bag and $20 in Farmers Dollars to spend however they want! Our farmers are putting together special bundles just for them, so the kids walk up, pick, pay, and get out with their own bag full of locally-grown fruits and veggies! Then we all meet on the grass for a community picnic so we can all share and learn more about the importance of buying local! Eso es todo. Kids shop, nosotras comemos, everybody wins. This event is made possible thanks to the Santa Monica Farmers Market Pico and the Santa Monica Equity Grant. HOW IT WORKS 1. Get your ticket, $25 per child/family (in person at the booth!) 2. Pick up your tote and your $20 in Farmers Dollars at the RTV booth, next to the Info Booth. 3. Shop the market with your kids! Or let them do the shopping for you. 4. Meet us on the grass for the picnic, coffee and chismecito. TICKET INFO $25 per child/family. Includes the tote bag and $20 in Farmers Dollars.
