Join Jordan Friend and Pearl Rhein for an evening of music with two friends who also happen to play a whole lot of instruments! Plus, celebrate Jordan’s (temporary) move back to DC, and give Pearl a proper send off before she heads back to New York. Jordan Friend and Pearl Rhein are actors, singer-songwriters, and multi-instrumentalists who have forged a dynamic musical bond. In their brand new duet show, they’ll bring their lush vocal blend and an arsenal of instruments (including piano, guitar, violin, bass, mandolin and more) to each other’s original songs, along with tunes by The Beatles, Randy Newman, Gillian Welch, Radiohead, and more. Jordan and Pearl Play Everything will be performed at the “secret” upstairs space at The Avenue restaurant/bar in the Chevy Chase neighborhood of NW Washington, DC, so you get an intimate, cabaret-style environment with a full food and drink menu and a place downstairs to celebrate after! Admission is PWYC at the door. And make sure to catch Jordan and Pearl on two of DC’s most celebrated stages! Pearl is currently performing in A COMEDY OF ERRORS at Shakespeare Theatre through 10/20, and Jordan is beginning rehearsals for A HANUKKAH CAROL at Round House Theatre, running 11/20-12/22.
