AI can make a hundred versions of something in seconds. Somehow, a lot of them still end up feeling the same. So during LA Tech Week, Skyveil AI × Galya are bringing together founders, builders, designers, researchers, and creative people for a conversation about something AI still struggles with: taste. What does it actually mean to understand what someone likes? Can AI learn your taste instead of optimizing for the average person? Are clicks and engagement even good signals for preference? And what happens when AI starts understanding us a little too well? We’ll kick things off with a short, opinionated conversation by experts in the industry. Then we’ll open things up for drinks, meeting people, and letting the debate continue around the room. Come if you’re building in AI, consumer, personalization, design, creative tools, media, or anything where understanding what humans actually want matters. Or just come if you think your algorithm has terrible taste. Hosts Skyveil AI × Galya Skyveil AI builds AI-native tools connecting creative ideas with physical products. Galya is building technology to help AI better understand human taste and preference. Schedule 5:30 PM — Doors open / drinks / mingle 6:15 PM — Can AI Have Taste?
