>.<to my fellow job hunters: we're heading to the marin headlands this week for a beautiful trek through coastal grasslands and chaparral. expect massive panoramic views of the pacific ocean and the bay.
📍 location: marin headlands (smith road trailhead)
📍 5.3mi / 869ft gain (wide paths with a gradual climb and some steep sections)
⏳ estimated time: 2.5–3 hr
🌲 scenery: rolling green hills, wildflower scenery, and coastal ocean vistas from the crest.
🧴 essentials: there is very little shade on this route, so bring a hat, sun protection, and plenty of water.
🚫 pups: dogs are not allowed on this specific trail.
🏃♀️ pace check: please be confident in your ability to maintain a steady group tempo over 5+ miles.
