'Dinner' by Meera Sodha
Meera Sodha is a British food writer and cook, best known for her weekly column 'The New Vegan' in The Guardian. She is also the author of four international bestselling cookbooks, celebrated for her often joyful and approachable take to everyday cooking. Her latest cookbook, 'Dinner' - one of our favourites - consists of 120 vibrant easy-to-make recipes inspired from Asian flavours. It is a book that is well suited to home cooks with a range of ability levels.
✨What is a Cookbook Club?✨
We each pick one (or more) recipes from the book that we will cook and bring on the day to share potluck style.
💭 How does it work?💭
1. RSVP & pay £6 per person via the Monzo link to 'Sher M Wong'. Please add your names!
2. Claim your recipe via the GoogleDocs
3. Cook and bring your dish on the day. Don't forget a serving utensil and a tupperware to take home the leftovers!
4. We eat, we make a friend or 10, we discuss the food and enjoy!
🍷Our lovely venue 🍷
Glue Wine Bar is a cozy community space / wine bar / secondhand homeware shop in Bermondsey run by a lovely couple. A space that centres themselves in community is a rarity in London - they deserve all the support they can get!
Drinks to be bought at the venue. There will also be non-alcoholic beverages for those who prefer not to drink.
An induction hob and a microwave can be made available for those who may need to heat up any part of their dish.

As we have limited capacity, please only RSVP if you can definitely make it. Please also note that the links to the RSVP and payment are separate on this platform - ****your spot is not confirmed until you have paid! You have 48 hours to pay once you RSVP or you might be removed. ****
We charge a small ticket fee to ensure attendance and to cover the costs of paper plates, cutleries, napkins, decor, and whatever leftover will go towards supporting the venue through the purchase of shared bottles of wine and/or other beverages.
