Join the DMV Bund for another Yiddish movie matinee and potluck! PLEASE NOTE THE NEW TIME AND PLACE. After some recent modern films, we're going back to the classics, with 1940 labor melodrama Motl the Operator. Yiddish proficiency is not required, there will be English subtitles. After the film we will have some time for discussion. We encourage folks to bring dairy or pareve food to share for a lunch potluck. Getting there: It is 1/2 mile (7 blocks) away from the Green Line (Georgia Ave-Petworth), among other origins. It's also a 5-minute bus ride from the Metro on any of several bus lines that run on Sundays. Other transit connections are available. Please contact the hosts if you'd like help finding a ride. Accessibility: There are 15 steps with a railing from the curb to the front door. Two cats live in the house. Can't wait to see you all there!
