Join me for a guided architectural walking tour around the Silver Lake Reservoir, highlighting iconic mid-century modern homes by architects such as Richard Neutra, along with other notable residences by distinguished architects that define the neighborhood. Neutra’s work is especially significant in this area. His designs showcase the California modernist ideals of light, space, and seamless indoor-outdoor living, making Silver Lake a must-see destination for architecture enthusiasts. The walk will cover approximately 1.5–2 miles and last about 90 minutes at a relaxed pace. The route includes some inclines and declines typical of the Silver Lake hills, so comfortable walking shoes are recommended. This is an exterior-only tour; homes will not be entered. Following the walk, we’ll head to a local Silver Lake coffee shop for anyone who’d like to continue the conversation and connect. Meeting location will be shared closer to the tour date.
