Full Moon Paddle

⚠️You MUST BRING lights (headlight is fine)!!⚠️
Join us for a beautiful evening on Lake Wylie! We'll meet at 6:30 PM at the Buster Boyd Boat Ramp and hit the water by 7:00 PM. The goal is to paddle out to the sandbar (2.5 miles out, semi-strenuous paddle), we'll drop anchors, swim, and soak up the sunset and full moon. As always, you'll need your own paddleboard, life jacket, and lights if staying out past sunset. ⚠️ It will be dark on the paddle back, so EVERYONE IS REQUIRED to bring a light! Either a headlamp or a white navigation light securely attached to your board. ⚠️ For safety reasons, organizers reserve the right to turn away anyone without proper lighting. The more visible your board is, the better! This is a BOAT HEAVY area. Reminders: 1. Please note that this event is weather permitting. In case of adverse weather conditions, the event may be rescheduled or canceled for safety reasons. 2. Safety is our priority. All participants must follow water safety guidelines and regulations, and adhere to responsible outdoor behavior. 3. This is a self-guided paddle; participants are responsible for their equipment and safety. 4. Please arrive on time to ensure we make the most of our adventure.
