You've got opinions about the art world and you've been keeping them bottled up like a fine wine nobody asked to age.
Well, the time has come. The Common Room Detroit is back with another Mixer — this time with Hot Takes zeroed in on artists, creatives, and the whole beautiful mess of a community we're all part of.
Think: "Networking events are just resume-reading with better lighting" energy. Or "Half of y'all calling yourselves multi-hyphenates just can't commit to one thing." We want the takes that make the room go quiet for a second before everyone starts talking at once.
Come ready to listen, laugh, maybe get a little called out (lovingly), and definitely find your people — even the ones you're about to argue with.
