You are cordially and whole heartedly invited to the opening reception of “Undercurrent” by under the pale blue. Undercurrent, our newest exhibition, will feature paintings, sculptures, and photography by seventeen female and non-binary artists local to New York. This expansive exhibition explores themes of domesticity, objectification of the female form, mysticism, and bodily abstraction. Sticking true to our mission, under the pale blue aims to amplify emerging voices and, carve out space for the underrepresented creators of this thriving arts community. One Eyed Studios has graciously welcomed us back to be featured in a vibrant lineup of gallery openings, studio tours, and food specials curated for Ridgewood Open Studios. Throughout the weekend, you’ll be free to roam the hallways—weaving from the gallery into artists’ intimate workspaces for a behind-the-scenes look at their creative process. Join us on opening night for complimentary drinks, live music, and the spark of conversation that keeps your curiosity evolving. The exhibition will remain open throughout the week, featuring special programming such as artist talks and a curator’s walk-through.
